Among the variants of Linux, I find Xandros as the easiest to install. Moreover it looks like the Windows environment. At least the transition from Windows to Linux is not that "painful".

Yes this is a user friendly Linux variant. You can even run Windows applications under Linux environment. I just find it quite resource intensive though. You need a high end unit to run this Linux variant.

Linux with all bells and whistles. Can this be the variant that will get rid of problems and barriers for desktop linux installations?
