Hey guys, I'm new and don't know if I posted in the right section, but the problem is driving me nuts.

I have a new Cytron TV/DVD combo. To play DVDs, you have to press the TV/AV button to put the TV in DVD mode and then press the DVD button to put the remote in DVD mode (so that the DVD-specific buttons will work.) The problem is that the DVD-specific buttons won't respond. I've replaced the batteries and cleaned the sensors. I've tried all sorts of inane things. Every once in a while, after messing with it for an hour or so, it will work out of the blue for no apparent reason. Then, I switch the TV off, turn it on again and put it in DVD mode and it won't work again. Has anybody had this problem before? Thanks in advance for any help.

My buddy has a new car with the banks system he is looking for a portable car DVD for his truck. He knows nothing about them but only want buy it online conveniently from ebay.com or sourcinggate.com. so he asked me for my opinion and I don’t know much about portable car DVD so I’m asking you guys what would be the best choice for a portable car DVD for his truck he is looking to spend no more than 100$ for one so let me know guys thanks!
