Though IE is mostly used but firefox is really better and recommended as it really recieves much less adwares .

As a webmaster I hate Firefox becouse it often do surprises for simple things and I need think up how to fix up them.

i use both IE and firefox and i found IE most beautiful.but fire fox is also best one.there is other browser like netscape but i dont have any idea abt it.

You have to be vigilant. Your browsers alone are not 100% smart to detect malwares. While browsers are regularly updated, malwares come in different forms.

I use Firefox on all my machines, and I always encourage all my friends to use it all the time. I put it on my mother's machine and on all machines when I set them up.

I find it stops almost all popups and I have very little trouble with spyware infestation.

I really like tabbed browsing feature - especially while browsing ebay - you can have a few different auctions open at the same time in different tabs and switch between them quickly using <alt-PageUp> and <alt-PageDn>

It uses less memory and loads quicker than IE too.

IE6 is the blackship of Microsoft. Its bad web browser I ever used. It has huge bugs. FireFox is the best browser.
